From the Kanzelbahn valley station at Lake Ossiach, at 500 m above sea level, you can reach the Kanzelhöhe adventure arena at 1,440 m in just 10 minutes. From there, continue comfortably by the Moserbahn 2-seater chairlift and the Pöllingerbahn 2-seater chairlift up to the Pöllingerhütte at 1,660 m above sea level.
Once at the Pöllingerhütte, breathtaking hiking trails, pleasant temperatures, and allergen-free mountain air await: the Gerlitzen Alpe offers a versatile hiking paradise with well-marked trails for families, leisure hikers, and mountain enthusiasts. From the Pöllingerbahn mountain station at 1,660 m, an easy, family-friendly hiking trail leads to the Gerlitzen summit (1911m) in about 30–45 minutes (1.8 km). From there, a flat, wide trail takes you to the Kammerhütte in about 30 minutes (1.3 km), and on to the Neugarten-Almseehütte (60 min / 3.3 km).
For culinary delights, our idyllic mountain huts invite you to enjoy regional specialties and homemade treats – ideally with a view from the sun terrace over the panorama.

From there, an easy family-friendly hike leads in 45min up to the summit where the Gerlitzen Gipfelhaus and Pacheiner are open daily.
