At the Ochsengarten practice centre, the little ski stars of tomorrow learn in a relaxed and playful way what it means to stand on two skis. The practice area is located directly in the municipality of Paternion and is equipped with a conveyor belt, practice slopes and a toboggan run.
At the Ski & Snowboard School Gerlitzen with its branch in Paternion, well-trained ski instructors are ready to welcome young beginners. In addition, the Gerlitzen Bino Bear supports the youngest children in their first steps on snow. During the Christmas holidays and subsequently during the semester break, the ski and snowboard school offers beginner and advanced courses for children from around 4 years of age.
In 9711 Paternion, Waldweg, there is an ideal practice area for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. A 180-metre magic carpet enables skiers of all skill levels to get started comfortably and safely. Especially ski beginners benefit from the designated and clearly defined area, which provides a high level of safety.
Thanks to modern snowmaking technology, operations are particularly snow-reliable and ensure consistent conditions throughout the entire winter season. In addition - depending on snow conditions - a 160-metre toboggan run is available, offering additional fun for children and families.
The well-structured facility creates a calm and pleasant learning environment where first turns and movement patterns on snow can be learned in a playful way. Due to its safe layout and short distances, the area is especially suitable for ski days for primary schools and kindergartens as well as supervised groups and beginner courses.
