For over a decade, the Seilbahnen (cable car) association of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber has been awarding the renowned quality label “Best Austrian Summer Mountain Railways.” This distinction represents the highest quality standards, innovative offers, and a consistent focus on the needs of guests.
As early as 2019, 67 cable car companies across Austria had already received this certification. This makes the initiative one of the most successful and unique quality programs throughout the entire Alpine region.
Its main goal is to continuously develop tourism offerings in the mountains, set new benchmarks in terms of service and experience quality, and provide guests with unforgettable summer experiences in the Austrian Alps.
